Stephen Michael Carleton, a resident of Pattaya for the past 15 years, died in his sleep on April 22, 2009, aged 43.

Born in 1965, in Bedfordshire, England, upon leaving school Stephen served as an Electrical Engineer in the Royal Navy. Soon after his discharge from the Navy, he emigrated to Pattaya, Thailand and began working in the Real Estate sector and quickly established a reputation for being a caring, genuine and honourable man.

Stephen was one of nature’s true gentlemen who would do anything for anybody. He was well respected and liked by all those he came in contact with and will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues.

Stephen is survived by his son Connor Michael.

I had the good fortune to know and work with Steve in the old days at East Coast Real Estate and I can concur that he was a true gentleman. It was a privilege to know him and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him!
