Prospective home-owners looking for a townhouse designed in tropical style may find Baan Prin Ram-Indra-Watcharaphon, by Prinsiri, to their liking, with prices starting at Bt1.99 million per unit.

The project’s tropical architecture concept involves opening up more land around the buildings and providing large windows as a link between the indoors and outdoors.

Functionality is also a feature of the design, with separate space to support family activities.

The lower floor consists of a living room, dining room and kitchen. Some corners can also be converted into working areas, depending on the needs of individual home-owners.

In a sample room, the interior design uses white as a main colour, creating a feeling of width. It is matched with furniture in dark tones, providing visual highlights.

“This is a new trend for designing rooms in modern style, and we use it for both living rooms and master bedrooms,” the designer said.

Where it comes to the upper floors, the project offers three types.

The first is 4.4 metres wide, offering floor space of 101 square metres, with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a parking space for one car on the upper floor.

The third type is designed in shop house style. It is 5 metres wide, with floor space of 168 square metres that is divided into two bedrooms and three bathrooms.

This project has five development zones on 84 rai (13.44 hectares) of land. The company will open sales in the first phase, or zone D, which has only 145 units collectively valued at Bt400 million.

The project is now in the process of construction and the developer expects to begin transferring finished units to customers next month
